Just a few sad months after graduation, the three of us former Eagles began to miss the sports on the heights. Sure the football team was stuck in the horrendous rut known as Spaz-ball and the basketball team is young enough that our obsession with them is illegal in at least a few states. Not satiated by a few trips back to campus to see a few friends — and a few more to grab some steak subs from lower — we decided that blogging was the only option. And that’s why we’re here.

Here at “The Shrine of the Silva Monkey” we hope to bring to you the fun nuggets of news, analysis and opinion that you crave to hear about the Eagles. Basically, the kind of things Jamie Silva might pull out of the trash heap of the internet to add to his collection. There already is an established network of Boston College sports blogs. ATL Eagle.
